MARCI Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

March 17, 2009

The meeting was called to order by the president, Geoff Haines, N1GY

Present were:

      Geoff Haines, N1GY, President, Present

      Frank Morton, AC4MK, Vice President. Interim Treasurer Present

      Jerry Johnson, AE4XW, Secretary, Present

      Bob Somerville, KD4EFT, Director, Present

      Ed Skalecki, NI4MX, Director, Present

      Jonelle Nabergall, KI4WSN, Director, Present

A quorum being present, the meeting continued.

The minutes from the previous meeting, having been distributed to the board electronically beforehand, were accepted as distributed.

The Treasurers Report:

AC4MK gave the treasures report and it was approved as read

The Technician License Prep Class, none is planned at this time

The general Class Prep Class is now running

May. 09 Elections

Jun. 09 Field Day Preparation, ED, Frank and Geoff.

Jul. Field Day Debrief, ED, Frank and Geoff.

Aug. No Meeting.

Membership;

Presented by Bob Somerville.  A new membership list was given to all board members, we have 64 members.

Activities: we are planning a Club QSO Party on the third weekend of April to coincide with the ARRL Florida QSO Party.
