MINUTES Membership Business Meeting
March 03 2009
The meeting was called to order by Geoff Haynes, N1GY, President, at 7:00 PM
We gave the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
The minutes from the previous meetings were accepted as published on the web
site www.manatee-arc.org.
The treasurer’s report was given and approved by Frank Morton.
Membership: given by Bob Somerfield, he has a problem with incorrect e-mail
addresses and ask for help from members.
We have a number of members that are not members of the ARRL. Geoff passed out forms for the ARRL and as that everyone join.
We have a special event this Saturday, a breakfast meeting 8:30AM at Fionas restaurant 5026 15th St E.
Geoff made a request for nominations for officers for the coming year we have a tentative slate
Austin Pickering WR4AP gave a very interesting talk on DXing.
